This practice is big enough to run a 7 day a week surgery ! if you look at its opening times and the amount of time it is closed during the week know wonder you struggle to get an appointment in good time even during it's normal working hours. This surgery used to be excellent but sadly it has been getting worse due mainly to poor management.

Appointment cancelled. Loss of a days pay. Rather than get an appointment quickly sent to back of line. Over two weeks from Dr referral to appointment now another 18 day before new appointment. Very much a service for staff not patient focused in anyway. Poor service at best! Wouldn't recommend to anyone.

The whole surgery is very good, receptionists, Dr's however, I don't see the nurses on a regular basis due to them changing so often, I don't handle change very well. But I see the Dr. It's a clean environment, also encouraging patients to use hand gel when coming into and leaving premises.

Received letter requesting I attend an Asthma review with the surgery nurse. I attended my appointment arriving 10 minutes before the allotted time. My appointment time came and went. Another patient arrived, after my allotted time, and was then called into see the nurse. I thought I may not have booked in properly. I approached reception and they clarified that I was shown as having arrived and duly informed that the other patient was in with the nurse. At this point it was 20 minutes after my appointment time and I had been waiting for 30 minutes. So having arrived in prompt time frame I was usurped In the queue by someone who arrived late. I had to leave without having my appointement as I had to go to another meeting.

i have been a patient at the surgery my entire life and we currently have 4 generations being seen here. I am registered under the care of Dr Becky Payne. Together as a patient and practice i have received excellent care and support through some difficult times. The receptionists have ALWAYS been very polite and understanding and tried well to fit around my work schedule. Dr Payne has great patient care and is very thorough and a great listener. I love always recommend this practice to friends but the only criticism i have is appointments can be difficult to book for advance, but in my opinion, its just a reflection of the excellent clients you have meaning a higher demand for appointments.
